Losing It
It is no secret that I have struggled with losing weight and becoming a healthier, fitter person for a long, long time. Here are some of the posts I’ve written about my battle against the bulge in chronological order. Some of them are about different methods I’ve tried, and some are just an intensely personal look inside my head.

*For those of you that don’t know, Jodi is my best friend. She has lost over 160 pounds and is keeping it off. She was morbidly obese for most of her life, out ate her gastric bypass, and was just at a place where she knew she needed to do something. She is my rock solid support. She is always there to offer encouragement or a good butt kicking depending on what I need. Because she’s been through all of this she knows all of the excuses and Jodi don’t play that game. Her posts are very inspirational if you are having a tough time yourself.

Hi Jennifer,
I just wanted to comment on you week 4 post. I keep waiting for my workouts to become easy and what I have realized is that they never should be easy. Sure, as you become more fit it will be easier to do the exercise but the minute it becomes “easy” you need to make it harder and strive for a bigger challenge for yourself. Huffing, puffing, and turning red, well sucks, but when I look around at the gym, the fit people, most times are doing the same. You are so worth the work!
Jennifer
I just saw this comment, and wanted to let you know that I think you are completely correct. It should be hard physically. I’ll be glad when it isn’t so hard mentally. If that makes any sense.
