The nurse laid the blue swaddled bundle in her arms.
His big eyes stared at her questioningly. Too bad she didn’t have any answers.

Thats how I felt when I had my baby girl at 18. Great job.
I’m sure. I didn’t have mine until later, and I wasn’t alone, but there is still that feeling of “what now”.
ooooooo – this is good!
Thanks so much.
So sweet! There’s a whole story in those 33 words.
Thanks!
Oh, that’s the truth! I was terrified when I brought home my first child. We survived
That’s usually the way it works. You learn together.
That’s tough-to be alone with a baby but sometimes,it is destiny & a mom’s love makes it easier for the duo to survive:-)Liked this .
It can definitely be tough.
That’s a great story! i’m lying here with my 3 month old baby girl and that hit home nicely
Thanks. I know this an additional depth of meaning for parents.
I love the determination in this, especially the last line.
I think all good mothers are determined. The really good ones know they don’t have the answers.
Ah cute pic! Too bad she didn’t have any answers — Haha!! Excellent conclusion.
Do any of us really though?
This just makes me want to read more.
Thanks. The hint of a story is always fun, isn’t it?
Awww, how adorable!

Thank you!
I really like this. Even with tons of family and friends around it really is just Momma and baby in so many ways. What an adorable beginning!
It really is in that moment.
Ah, sweet words and photo!
Isn’t that baby a doll? I can’t take credit for him though. I found the photo using photopin.com. Great site for finding creative commons images to use with your posts.
Awww, reminds me of when I had my first little, one. Amazing job you did with just 33 words!
Thank you. There is a lot of emotion in those 33 words.
Dang, girl! You nailed this! So much said in only 33 words. I love it!
