I did not do a great job with my Project 365 this past week. I completely missed two days, and I’m not even sure what was going on to make me miss. Probably just laziness. And the Sunday photo is kind of lame.
The only reason I took it was to post to a local Facebook decluttering group. I’m trying to organize and get rid of a bunch of stuff and this ginormous train table has to go. (In other news, apparently ginormous is a real word. Spell check says so.)
I bought this eraser in the Target $1 bin. I love it. Cady kept trying to still it from me so I took it to work where it will now live on my desk.
We are still doing swimming lessons for Cady and she gets better every time. This week she was actually swimming without the noodle. We are just having a problem getting her to put her face in the water. She hates when the water gets in her eyes. I don’t remember that ever being a problem when we were kids.
Friday I was wishing we could have a little more peace in the world. Weren’t we all.
Saturday I was backing out of the driveway and I rammed into David’s truck. He was parked partially behind me and I couldn’t see the truck in my rear view mirror when I started backing up. We shared the blame. But it was still stressful and annoying. My taillight was completely busted so now I’m sporty some white trash red tape until the new light comes in this week. He had a few scratches and a couple of dings.
I would say that I would hope I would manage the whole Project 365 thing better this week, but I already missed taking a photo yesterday. I was hit with a wicked migraine in the afternoon that had me down for the rest of the night, which totally sucked because I had a ton of stuff to do yesterday. Oh well. I guess that’s just life.
I hope y’all have a great week! Oh, and be sure to check out the giveaway that I posted on Saturday.

I love this feature. My kids “re-appropriate” a lot of my fun stuff, too. That kind of eraser is also really good, though. I don’t blame her.
I was at Target yesterday (because apparently I am there ALL the time), and they had some cute ones in the school supply aisle. I remember one of them read, “UGH.” That’s pretty fun too.
Oh, I so relate. I once backed into my sister’s parked car on the night before my wedding! I hope your migraine went away. I have chronic migraines and I know how hard it is to get through the day when you suffer from them.
It did, but it feels like it is fighting to come back today. You know it feels before it starts. Just ugh. I hope I can make it until tonight.
I’m terrified of backing into things. My car has a back up camera….but I still freak out!
I hate backing up. I’ve never felt like I’m very good at it, but I’ve been backing into my spot every day at work so I’m getting a lot of practice. It was totally because of the way he was parked.
I’m so sorry about your cars. You know I’ve done the whole “backing into your own other car” thing twice so, I feel your pain.
Right after I did it I thought about you doing the same thing awhile back. LOL
Ooohhh…sorry about the ramming David’s truck thing. That certainly won’t help end the week on a good note.
It did not. We were both in (what Cady calls a) cranky mood the rest of the day. Luckily David is pretty easy going and realized that if he had moved his truck it wouldn’t have happened. Of course I’m saying the blame lies 75/25 with him and he is saying it lies 75/25 with me, but whatever.
I know two other people that backed into their spouses cars last week. How strange is that?! It wasn’t a full moon, was it? Glad it was just a few scratches and the light on your car and you both shared the blame. After all, that is why they call them accidents.
I guess it was a “backing into a car” kind of week.
xo friend. I hate that one of your pictures is of a wrecked car!!! That totally sucks!!! I was doing project 365 but I totally sucked at it! Go You for still hanging in there! Like mother like daughter – because Go Cady for still plugging away at the swimming lessons.
Awwww. Thanks. I do think she gets that determination streak from me. It is one of the things I can be thankful that I passed on to her.
Those train tables. They are like the nemisis of moms everywhere.
I would die if I backed into my husband’s car. He would never let me forget it. Good thing you just bought him that super duper birthday/father’s day present!
They totally are. If it just wasn’t so big I would keep it. Like if it were half the size. It makes a really nice play table.
I’m sure David will never let me forget it, but then I can always follow up with, “oh you mean that time you were parked in the yard with your truck only partially behind me?”
OH, and the super duper present is WHY he was parked behind me. He had pulled into the yard to put it on the trailer to go to the hunting club, and then he changed his mind about going, but didn’t move his truck.
I hate, hate, hate backing into cars. Can you tell I’ve done it a few times? Ugh. So sorry that happened.
Buddy doesn’t like water in his eyes either. He’s FINALLY just started learning to handle it, and doesn’t mind going underwater too much anymore.
I think this is my second time. Both times I didn’t see the car in my rear view mirror. I guess I need one of those backup camera things.
I kept thinking I remember most of these pictures- but I saw the on instragram
Sorry about the car that is the worst. It took my son a really long time until he was willing to put his face in the water, he finally just got over it– though at first we got him goggles to help with the transition.
