Bud had been begging for “bsghetti” and it finally came up on the monthly dinner menu. He thoroughly enjoyed it. And requested that it be included twice next month.
Last summer we had a drought, but this summer we are back to our normal level of rainfall with afternoon showers almost every day. Praise the Lord. I pray for those in Colorado in going through what we went through last year.
The kids have been doing all kinds of fun art projects at daycare this summer. I’m glad they are having fun even if I miss them like crazy every day. It does alleviate some of the guilt.
Thursday I flipped 100,000 on my Chevy Trailblazer. Here’s hoping it has several more miles left in it because I’m not ready to buy something new.
Friday David’s birthday and Father’s day present was delivered. He has been really happy with it.
Saturday David and the kids went to visit one of David’s friends that has a farm. He sent David home with two bushels of corn… which my mom and I had to clean and put up yesterday. I’m not a big fan of corn, but David and the kids LOVE it. Plus? Yay, free food!
This week I’m in College Station and David and the kids are home making their way without me. The kids start swimming lessons tonight and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well. There is a few more hours left on the shoe giveaway so if you haven’t entered yet you should.
Hope y’all have a great week!

I bet I know of two others that are reeeeally enjoying his birthday/father’s day gift, too!!
OH yes, the kids are loving it too.
WOW! Great gift!
Have a great week!
I’m just glad that I got the right one. I had no idea, but based on what he and my brother have told me I made a really good choice.
My husband thinks you buy the best presents EVER!!! And for some reason I am craving bsghetti right now!
Apparently according to the guys David works with I buy the best presents ever too.
That’s quite a nice present that David got for his bday/Father’s Day.
You don’t like corn? I love corn on the cob with a little butter and a little salt. Mmm.
It’s not that I don’t like it, but it just isn’t my favorite.
He looks like a natural on that 4 wheeler! And our streets looked like that one day last week too – WOAH! But yes, thankful for the rain.
It has been raining pretty much non-stop this week according to what I’m hearing at home.
Love his gift! Boys and their toys!
My family loves corn too. Me not so much!
Yes! Boys and their toys.
