Bud turns four tomorrow. Oh how the last four years have flown by… Sheesh. Yesterday we had his party at a local entertainment complex, Adventure Kingdom. It was amazing! I have to give credit to Big Girl because it was her idea to have it there. This was by far the easiest party I’ve ever had for either kid.
He loved it! The party facilities were fantastic. They had games set up for the kids to play while everyone was arriving.
The kids loved this game where you had to make the frogs land on the tree. I need to find it because it is something they could play without any adult intervention, which in my opinion is the best kind of game for kids.
The facility personnel set everything up for us before we got there. The theme for the complex is the medieval time period so everything centered around knights. They even had a throne for Bud to sit in while he opened gifts.
The only kind of sucky thing was the lighting inside the party room. This photo was completely underexposed, but I loved it so much I brightened it as much as I could and I’m using it anyway.
After he opened gifts the kids had a variety of games to play like minature golf,
Bumper cars for the bigger kids,
Paddle boats, and a water balloon fighting area (which now I want in my backyard).
Even the grownups got in on the fun.
Oh yeah. That’s me riding a bumper car. I loved every minute of it. Even when those little brats ganged up on me. Stinkers.
This was the perfect party venue for a busy working mom. They even did the cake.
All we did was show up and have fun. If you are local I highly recommend using Adventure Kingdom for your next birthday party or group event. The facilities were clean (the bathroom was spotless), the staff was super friendly and helpful, it was affordable (I spent less for this party than any I have ever done before), and it was fun for kids and adults. I’m so glad I listened to Baby Girl and had his party there.
